Durgapur Football Academy
Jain Group of Industries is the main Sponsor of Durgapur Football Academy popularly known as Mohun Bagan SAIL Football Academy. Mr. Mannoj Kumar Jain is Vice President of the Academy. The academy encourages potentially talented young soccer players from poor and economically weaker sections by imparting free Football Training. The training focuses on better growth in terms of career aspect. This academy has been structured and positioned following the European talent hunt and training camps/academies. The players brought up at the academy are being trained for matching the international standard.
Jain Group Tollygunge Agragami
Tollygunge Agrogami is one of the very old clubs engaged in sports and games in the country. From this club, number of footballers have successfully represented India. It was the Third Force in Kolkata Maidan. But unfortunately due to meager financial strength the club is not doing well now. The newly appointed President, the Group Chairman & Managing Director Mr. Mannoj Kumar Jain, assured his continuous support in regaining the old glory and making their way rapidly & successfully to the top positions.
Caring Curriculum
Jain Group has always tried to provide socio-economic security and moral support services like financial assistance for life saving surgery and treatment. Jain Group generously extends financial and organizational help to various programmes for spastic children, physically handicapped. The group employs number of physically handicapped personnel in their office and factory. .
Medical Aids
The group actively participates in various medical assistance programmes that covers eye operation camps, vaccination camps, health check-up camps, blood donation programmes etc Recently, the group sponsored an Ambulance to Mission – an NGO.
Other Services
Providing free educational aid to the students from economically weaker section is a consistent programme. Providing companionship to senior citizen and meeting their trivial needs is within group’s regular programme.
Future Programme. A village in economically backward area of West Bengal will be adopted by the group for its socio-economic up gradation. Group’s objective is to create a model village that would showcase the approaching rural India.
The group is sponsoring 500 Children everyday through the NGO Akshya Patra Foundation whose vision is “No child in India should be deprived of education because of hunger. more»
